Where would you like to begin, Silver?
no subject
I didn't think I'd get this far.
[And he looks a little embarrassed. Silver, it's your damn girlfriend, get a grip-]
no subject
Nor did I. [ At least she's amused. Easier to be amused, even, than nervous. Certainly this is no different than on stage— granted, stage kisses are to the air and illusory at best, but the proximity is the same. ] Cheek, then. That's simple enough, isn't it? And quite friendly as well.
no subject
I'm going to be kissing your cheek a lot. Are you sure?
no subject
[ i'm so sorry but you chose her as your girlfriend, silver? you did? ]
no subject
That's fine. I love cheeks. I have two of them, and they've never done me wrong in my life.
no subject
...She doesn't know how to feel about that. She likes him, but it's not as if she's ever considered it...? Well, it's not like she considers a lot of things like this... ]
You have four, technically. [ face cheeks and butt cheeks. Okay, it's alright. She scoots closer and takes one of his hand, whatever nervousness or discomfort she might have hidden beneath her usual mysteriously complacent smile. ] Well, only two of them are good for kissing...
[ And she'll give those ones kisses. Mwah, mwah. Two on each cheek, alternating. Like in France, except slightly more touchy. ]
no subject
I hope my cheeks are satisfactory.
[If he's going to be awkward, he might as well commit, right? He slowly emulates the gesture, with one kiss on each cheek. And slowly is the key word here; it's as if it's really hard and he's making sure to get it just right, or maybe he's just mocking her. Just a little. Whoops, it looks like he's found his way to her lips on the way back! better give that a quick little kiss too, just in case.]
no subject
You're quite sneaky. [ But that's seven bats satisfied at least—give her a moment to open her window so they can fly out. Bye bye, bats... Oh, but it's cold. ...Well, she could use the chill right now. Her tone stays ever playful, though. ] How long have you wanted to do that?
no subject
[Silver shakes his head and shamelessly leans back on her bed.]
That's right, I think the plan was to steal your kisses, then your heart, and that's running on a tight timetable. Four years, getting closer to three now. That's the deadline.
[He holds out his hands like he's opening some map and points at different spots in the air accordingly.]
no subject
Elizabeth'll join him back on her bed, smoothing her skirt when she sits. ]
You sound like you're hoping to keep me here or at least by your side, instead of simply letting me leaving the moment I'm through with my education.
[ She'll just edge seriousness, then. ]
no subject
[He holds an arm up in the air and waves his hand dismissively.]
It's your life. If you want to leave for France or something the second you're done here, that's probably for the best. Sometimes I wish I had the guts to leave this place myself.
[But there's no guarantee what he would find out there, and there's too much he would lose here. It's a thought that he quickly dismisses, however. He doesn't need to- doesn't want to look nervous for this.]
I just hope your time here can be something you remember fondly. That's all.

Well, there's a lot of bad things that've happened here— there were a lot of months, admittedly, spent in her usual carefree daze. But there's been a lot of good things born out of being here as well, ones she's admitted to Minako and to herself, and Elizabeth purses her lips briefly before she scoots a little closer and leans against him. A little stiffly, but only because she's not used to this.
There are still bats to take care of, but this is a little more important. ]
Of course it will be, Silver. I've gotten to meet a number of wonderful people who have all become very dear to me. Certainly, I may not have ever felt that way prior to Retrospec so rudely intruding in my— our— lives... or perhaps it would have eventually happened, but in a much slower fashion. Staying in one place for so long has been...
[ ...she glances down at her hands, thumbs pressed together. ]
Strange, to put it lightly. I haven't stayed in the same city for longer than a few months since I was... seven or eight, I think, and never nearly a year. When I realized that the end of this year would simply bring another year and not another city entirely, not another school to attend or classmates to familiar myself with... [ she squeezes her fingers and smiles alightly. ] It was quite surprising. I think that, and the fact that I'll be staying here until I'm graduated, make it something worth being fond of.
Ah, [ a laugh, ] and there are so many people who refuse to leave me alone as well. You're all very charming—I'll admit, it's rubbed off on me quite a bit.
