... Truthfully, I'm not entirely sure.
I didn't have very many growing up, mostly due to my attitude I'll admit, and I... had a kind of a distance with most as well, going through high school.
Anyway. A friend... to me is someone I can be myself around, or at least more of myself, and though I find it hard to take the first step in assuming the river's deep on both ends even in the case if that. I suppose.
It's also someone I don't mind cooking for, if that makes any sense? It goes hand in hand.
I'm sorry, this must not make a lot of sense.

i would as well. it'd be nice to have some here, especially as my stay here isn't quite as temporary as past ones have been.

How temporary were those? If you don't mind my asking. Every few months?

sometimes they were longer, such as half a year or a little over that, however... i would say "every few months" is an accurate average.
sometimes i ended up returning to various places as well, but there were years between those.

i've mainly only lived in America despite all the traveling...
i did get the chance to vacation in other countries though. Hungary was rather beautiful, but Austria was truly magnificent.

I see... I've only lived in Japan and America myself, and I've never been outside of either otherwise. I'd like to go to France someday. Or Venice in Italy. I hear it's beautiful there.
Do you think you'll ever return to New York? Or want to.

absolutely. i don't know if it's where i'd like to ultimately settle, but i miss seeing shows...
they were the most wonderful things, Akechi.
camrips don't do them justice in the slightest.

I can imagine not! I'd like to see one too, at least once in my life... Nothing could compare to that, I think, as far as the theatrical arts go.
There was a rather nice show put together in my sophomore year of high school, though. I was only a stagehand, but it was exciting to see regardless! Especially from behind. I don't doubt you would have found it amateurish in comparison to Broadway.

even amateur productions are magical! everyone working so hard together to put on a show that means so very much to them...
wanting to reach the audience and move their hearts, to feel as they do...
any sort of performing art is truly stunning, in my humble opinion.
