have you ever wondered why it's only ever those two? there are dozens of other types of pets that are just as popular nowadays such as birds and rodents, after all.
i see. i suppose, going by stereotypes, a cat person would be more comfortable indoors and is perhaps an introvert, content to have an animal that will sit on their lap as they read or peruse the internet... and a dog person would be more athletic, energetic, and happiest when they're outdoors with other people.

the tricky part of that is is that people are so rarely their stereotypes, aren't they.
