... Truthfully, I'm not entirely sure.
I didn't have very many growing up, mostly due to my attitude I'll admit, and I... had a kind of a distance with most as well, going through high school.
Anyway. A friend... to me is someone I can be myself around, or at least more of myself, and though I find it hard to take the first step in assuming the river's deep on both ends even in the case if that. I suppose.
It's also someone I don't mind cooking for, if that makes any sense? It goes hand in hand.
I'm sorry, this must not make a lot of sense.

sometimes they were longer, such as half a year or a little over that, however... i would say "every few months" is an accurate average.
sometimes i ended up returning to various places as well, but there were years between those.
